The March of the Robots

Posted by Michael J. Cargill

There's a men's clothing store in New York's, Flatiron district that always has the coolest window displays. Currently they are featuring one of the coolest - the work of sculptor Gordon Bennett who creates robots out "of found objects which are both old and new. The parts are found in various places including garbage dumps, basements, constructions sites, and garbage sales."

These are pictures of just some of his work. Follow the links to his website to see more. (NOTE: there's an order form at the bottom of his site if anyone wants to buy me one!)

These would be better if they had more expression and emotion, like Mike Rivamonte's robots, instead of being expensive doorstops.
Nice photos.

I don't know, I think they're kinda cute. I could see them as an animated movie, about forgotten objects who majically assembled themselves into these robots.

That is not much of a plot and would only be interesting to watch for about 1 minute. Other people have already made movies like this, as YouTube is full of them.
Your photos are very nice.
