Walking around on the Lower East Side earlier this week, I found myself wandering into the bar Cakeshop, and being pleasantly surprised to catch a band called Hooray For Earth. For years I've read about those 'you should have seen them when' bands, who rise up from nowhere to become critical darlings and the new "it" band on the scene. Well for me this was a "I saw them when" moment. Hands down the best show I've seen in months, from a band who will no doubt be enjoying their moment in spotlight very very soon.
